Dunewood, Fire island is a small family-friendly community made up of about 100 homes. Dunewood is east of Fair Harbor and west of Lonelyville. This sleepy beach town is preserved by its lack of restaurants, bars, and stores. The Dunewood Yacht Club offers sailing lessons and sponsors many well-known sailing regattas. Tennis is a religion here. Ferries are from Bay Shore.
